Learning and Enrichment: By Telephone
University Without Walls (UWW) lets you experience the joys of community and lifelong learning—all from the comfort of home. Our telephone-based programs connect you to engaging discussions about art, culture, current events, music, and more, along with sessions that support your health and wellness.
The small-group format encourages conversation, while you explore new interests, share memories, or develop new skills. We also offer supportive peer groups, providing a space to connect with others navigating similar life experiences such as vision loss and grief.
Programs for Russian Speakers
The Russian University Without Walls (RUWW) offers engaging programs designed specifically for Russian-speaking older adults. Classes primarily focus on English language learning through supportive classes that emphasize conversation and connection.
In addition, RUWW hosts a weekly discussion group—in Russian—where participants review and talk about current events from around the world.
