DOROT 38th Annual Benefit Commemorated Commitment to Community
Over 200 people attended DOROT’s 38th Annual Spring Benefit honoring Alan Laytner on Wednesday, May 28th at the Museum of the City of New York. A lifelong Upper West Side resident, Alan has served on DOROT’s Board of Directors, Chaired the Program Committee, and has volunteered at several Thanksgiving Banquets and Holiday Package Deliveries with his wife and children.

DOROT also recognized the graduating seniors of Next Generation, DOROT’s teen leadership board: Molly Kaissar, Elena Krasnoff, Jamie Lichtenstein, Jared Mandelbaum, Morgan Shear, Max Slepian, and Carly Steckel. Museum galleries were open to event attendees and guests were offered a behind–the–scenes tour of archived Yiddish Theater art, while live Klezmer music enhanced the New York ambiance.
