Department: DOROT Westchester

Reports To: Director, DOROT Westchester

Status: Full-time, non-exempt

Position Summary: DOROT Westchester seeks a dynamic, tech savvy, and hard-working individual to provide support and office management for the Westchester office. The Program Administrator is a new position that will support major growth in Westchester. S/he will work with the Director to streamline, support and enhance day-to-day operations of the program. The ideal candidate has a track record in creative problem solving under pressure.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Be the office’s main point of contact for in-person, email and phone communication;
    • Serve as receptionist for all calls, inquires and guests
    • Respond to all seniors and volunteers with requests for information, referrals and materials
  • Manage overall office logistics, inventory of office supplies, and technology/equipment requests
  • Help coordinate and assist with Westchester programs and initiatives, from planning through execution and follow up phases
  • Plan and manage logistical preparations for group programs
  • Support outreach efforts for volunteer and senior recruitment
  • Maintain and track client participation utilizing DOROT’s Central Information Management System and the Westchester County’s online system; review data reports for accuracy
  • Support the Director with analyzing data and program outcomes for funder and other reporting needs
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • One year of professional office and/or program experience
  • Comfort and ease working with older adults
  • Excellent customer service, administrative and organizational skills
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline driven, busy environment
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members
  • Availability to work approximately 4 6 Sundays per year for special events
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 required, experience with Salesforce a plus.
