Celebrate Purim
by Volunteering with DOROT!

Celebrate Purim by delivering gifts of food to our older friends and sharing a wonderful gift - the gift of friendship. Fulfill the mitzvah of giving mishloach manot, a traditional Purim food package filled with goodies, especially hamantaschen.

This event is for families with children ages 5-12.

Visit an older adult in Manhattan on one of the following days:

Sunday, March 17th between 1:00PM-3:00PM
Wednesday, March 20th between 4:00PM-6:00PM

The visit should be approximately 30-45 minutes. Space is limited.

The deadline to register is Monday, March 11th. Please note that registration may close early if all spots are filled.

Families who have not volunteered at DOROT previously will need to choose one of the following dates to attend an orientation at DOROT, 171 W. 85th St:

Tuesday, March 12th at 5:30PM
Thursday, March 14th at 5:30PM

Families who have volunteered together at DOROT in the past two years do not need to attend an orientation and should coordinate a time to pick up the mishloach manot package from DOROT during business hours.

All adult volunteers must bring a photo ID to orientation or package pick up in order to participate in this event.

Registration is now closed. To be added to the Waiting List, please email Quinn Lockwood at qlockwood@dorotusa.org
