Since 1976, DOROT’s Friendly Visiting has created long–lasting friendships by bringing the generations together to share ideas, opinions and experiences.
Friendly Visiting matches you with a senior for weekly in-home visits. A DOROT social worker matches each senior and volunteer based on mutual interests, availability and location, and maintains a supportive presence for the duration of the relationship.
Friendly Visiting can easily fit into your schedule and become a fulfilling part of your life. An interview is required. You will receive training and ongoing support from a DOROT social worker. Interview, training, references and background check are required.
