All participants must attend all workshop sessions: 4/13, 4/20, 4/27, and 5/4.

Learn about the practice of mindfulness… the ability to pay attention to whatever we want to be paying attention to with kindness and curiosity. In each session, we will explore a different component of mindfulness, including mindfulness meditation, mindful breathing and mindful eating. Participants will learn several breathing techniques and simple movements to help sustain attention, increase, focus, and better manage stress.

At the completion of the course, students will walk away with simple strategies they can integrate into their daily life. No prior experience is required!

If this is your first time participating in DOROT’s Intergenerational Program, you will be asked to attend an orientation.
