Over the course of four sessions, the facilitator will tell older adults and teen volunteers two stories that address enduring human concerns: choice, change, and the challenge of pursuing your dreams. As the stories unfold, participants will have frequent opportunities to explore connections and reflections on how their experiences relate to each other as well as to the main themes and characters in the tales.

All participants must attend all workshop sessions: 10/21, 10/28, 11/4, 11/11, and 11/18. If this is your first time participating in DOROT’s Intergenerational Program, you will be asked to attend an orientation.

About the Facilitator: Jake Lewis is a teaching artist and professional storyteller living in Exeter, New Hampshire. He has facilitated, directed, and founded a variety of experiential education programs for people of all ages. Jake draws upon his theater background as well as his educator experience to inspire connection and reflection through lively storytelling performances.
