Ali Hodin Baier
Chief Program Officer

After joining DOROT in 2015 as Associate Executive Director for Programs, Volunteer Management, and Evaluation, Ali became the agency’s first Chief Program Officer in 2017. In this role, Ali directs the vision and execution of our programming, which includes direct and supportive services, social connections programming, volunteer visiting, and external partnerships.
She has worked in the aging services field for more than two decades, developing a passion for supporting vulnerable older New Yorkers and honing her expertise in nonprofit management, strategic planning, and program development. Prior to coming to DOROT, she served for 12 years as the Executive Director of the Aging in New York Fund, the philanthropic arm of the New York City Department for the Aging, helping the City incubate new programs to meet the evolving needs of older adults.
Ali holds a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University and a master’s degree in Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University.
