Homelessness Prevention Program

DOROT needs your energetic and enthusiastic partnership! Volunteer opportunities are plentiful. Aid residents in using a computer to access housing information. Provide one-on-one technology support. Be a “dinner host,” assisting with basic meal preparation and cleaning up. Volunteers can also participate in group outings and activities on Sundays, as well as support annual giveaway days, when DOROT provides household items and clothing to our older adult participants.

Ages: 18+

Time Commitment: Weekly, for two hours per week

Requirements: Valid US government-issued photo ID, orientation; references; background check; and a phone or in-person interview.

Next Steps: In an effort to protect the health and safety of all in our community, DOROT is not currently offering volunteer opportunities at the Homelessness Prevention Program. To learn more about other ways to get involved at DOROT, please sign up for an upcoming Volunteer Orientation and Information Session.
