Deliver joy and holiday cheer to older adults through DOROT’s Rosh Hashanah Package Delivery!
As a Package Delivery volunteer, you can make a meaningful connection with an older neighbor through a social visit or phone call and a holiday care package. While holidays can increase feelings of loneliness or isolation, volunteering for Rosh Hashanah Package Delivery creates shared connections and community.
The program is called Package Delivery, but we like to say that it’s really “not about the package.” It’s about the connections you make—for volunteers and package recipients alike.
*Please note: This year’s Rosh Hashanah Package Delivery is taking place on a Wednesday, due to the timing of the holiday.
