Summer Package Delivery

Age Group: Adults 18+ College Students Graduate Students

A DOROT volunteer holds up a DOROT giftbag before delivering them to an older adult.
One-Time

Deliver joy and cheer to older adults through DOROT’s Summer Package Delivery!

As a Package Delivery volunteer, you can make a meaningful connection with an older neighbor through a social visit and a care package. While long summer days can increase feelings of loneliness or isolation, volunteering for Summer Package Delivery creates shared connections and community.

The program is called Package Delivery, but we like to say that it’s really “not about the package.” It’s about the connections you make—for volunteers and recipients alike.
