Internships
Summer & Academic Year Volunteer Internships for College Students
Spend a semester or a summer learning about DOROT and serving the frail elderly in the community. As a DOROT intern, you will be exposed to the complex issues of aging, and gain experience in all aspects of DOROT’s operations. Among many activities you may: visit with seniors in their homes, escort seniors to the doctor, assist seniors in computer use, escort seniors to cultural events, and assist in the DOROT office.
DOROT internships, which put you at the forefront of our operations, are particularly rewarding learning experiences. We will assist you in designing an individualized internship schedule with customized projects to match your interests, meet your professional goals, or fulfill requirements for class credit.
