"discussion"

Teens and older adults come together each week for a series of conversations, exploring and reflecting on topical issues such as education, travel, and media, as they relate to our lives. This group provides a structure for all participants to exchange ideas, opinions, and personal stories to learn from one another.

All participants must attend all workshop sessions – 10/21, 10/28, 11/4, 11/11, and 11/18. If this is your first time participating in DOROT’s Intergenerational Program, you will be asked to attend an orientation.

About the Facilitator: Lilia Cohen is a theater maker, actor, and facilitator. In May 2024 she received her Master’s in Applied Theater from CUNY School of Professional Studies, where she has honed skills and practices that use theater as a medium for education, community development, and in pursuit of social justice. She is excited to continue working with DOROT after having recently facilitated an intergenerational workshop for her graduate thesis, “Women in Community.”
