Teens and older adults will participate in a series of three intergenerational workshops where we’ll dive into the world of reality television, explore our favorite shows, and discuss how they relate to our lives. Whether you’re a die-hard fan or just curious about reality TV’s role in the media, this workshop will offer new insights and engaging discussions.
About the Facilitator: Julia Banfill is a Program Coordinator for GENuine Connections at DOROT. Julia is passionate about building connections, relationships, and sharing stories across generations. Julia is a lover of theater, movies, and bad reality TV. She earned her degree in Family and Child Sciences and Psychology from Florida State University.
NOTE: All participants must attend all workshop sessions, September 3, 10, and 17. If this is your first time participating in DOROT’s Intergenerational Program, you will be asked to attend an orientation.
