Ahead of her Yom HaShoah Concert at DOROT, the Forward spotlighted DOROT Artist in Residence Jeanne Golan’s efforts to bring the works of composers persecuted by Nazis to light.

As part of her residency at DOROT, Golan will be performing three concerts at DOROT over the next year, including the Yom HaShoah concert. In addition to championing “recovered voices,” Golan also stands out for her “concert with conversation” format of sharing music with audiences, which fits well with DOROT’s mission of fostering social connection. Learn more about Golan’s residency at DOROT.
