Jenny Notis Lyss

Chief Advancement Officer

Jenny joined DOROT in 2022 as the Chief Advancement Officer where she leads the Development, Foundation Relations, and Marketing & Communications teams responsible for all fundraising efforts and increasing awareness of DOROT’s programs all with the goal of supporting our mission.

With extensive experience as a strategic development consultant, Jenny has worked with organizations including Robin Hood, the Bronfman Fellowship, the foundation of a large international bank, and numerous other nonprofit groups in areas such as fundraising, board development, and organizational growth. Most recently, she served as the Senior Development Officer for Major Gifts at the Shalom Hartman Institute. She serves on the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Board of Family and Children Services and is an active volunteer with UJA-Federation of NY.

Jenny holds a law degree from Cardozo Law School and has studied regional security issues of the Middle East at Columbia University’s School of International Affairs.
