Bring your skills and expertise to DOROT
Leverage your talents and skills to support DOROT in a unique and fulfilling way. Learn more about the types of specialized volunteer opportunities available:
- Do you have past experience as an educator, author, social worker, or in another related field? You could lend your talents as a volunteer to help facilitate and lead programs such as Aging Alone Together workshops, create Legacy Projects with older adults, and more.
- Are you interested in offering critically needed support to a DOROT program or department? Become an office volunteer! Whether you’re a whiz at spreadsheets, have a knack for organization, or have stellar communication skills, there’s an opportunity for you at DOROT, either in-person or from the comfort of your own home.
- Are you a people person who loves getting out into the community? You’d make a great DOROT Ambassador, helping to spread the word about DOROT’s array of programs. From welcoming participants to Zoom programs to facilitating corporate cardmaking events — this is the perfect way to share your passion for our mission and get others involved, too.
