DOROT Onsite@Home

While our headquarters on Manhattan’s Upper West Side is temporarily closed during COVID-19, DOROT’s Onsite@Home brings the same vibrant, interactive, and life-enhancing programs that you’ve enjoyed on-site at DOROT - right to your home via Zoom videoconferencing or telephone.

DOROT Onsite@Home classes are designed for adults 60+ to encourage health and wellness, create social connection among peers and provide opportunities for dynamic learning and enrichment. Multiple one-hour classes are offered daily and participation is free. To see the full calendar, click below.

At Home

DOROT engages, supports and brings social connections to older adults in the convenience of their home.

We meet the critical needs of seniors by providing innovative programs that enable them to remain engaged and connected.

We offer weekly, monthly, occasional and one-time opportunities for seniors to enjoy volunteer visits. Some of our programs include home-delivered kosher meals, engaging classes and support groups over the telephone, and Friendly Visiting.

Out and About

DOROT offers older adults assistance and companionship while getting out of their homes and into the community, making it easier for them to live at home.

Trained staff and volunteers escort older adults to medical appointments and other essential errands through our Door To Door program.

Life-enhancing support enriches the lives of seniors by accompanying them around town and enjoying planned activities together.
