DOROT’s Knitting & Crochet Group volunteers twice per month, once in person at DOROT and once via Zoom to make blankets, scarves, hats and other items. These items are distributed to DOROT clients in need as well as to low-income older New Yorkers.
All levels of experience are welcome and new participants can join at any time.
Time Commitment: The group meets for two hours during monthly in-person sessions and for 60 minutes when meeting on Zoom. A schedule will be provided upon registration. Join when you can!
Requirements: Valid US government-issued photo ID, volunteer orientation and a phone interview.
